bonding and ndiswrapper(?) issue

hi.
I am trying to bond eth0 and wlan0 using netcfg and netcfg-bonding

ethernet and wifi are working fine with network manager or via netcfg specific profile for each

But when I try to run the 'bonding' profile (just the example one), it just locks up in my terminal and stays there. blocked. I lose network and can't kill anything. I have to reboot

So trying to make the bond manually without netcfg but with ifenslave gives the same problem.
Except it locks only when I ifenslave bond0 wlan0

/var/log/messages.log shows this error (that happened also when using netcfg).

So ndiswrapper seems to be the culprit ?
Why does ifenslave wants to power down the device ? is it a ndiswrapper "bug" ?

After that, I can't even kill (SIGTERM) ifenslave or any ifconfig process. I can't shutdown. It is blocked like the process linked to the network I guess. So I have to hard-reset

Re: bonding and ndiswrapper(?) issue

I have just discovered that my PC can't properly suspend to RAM with ndiswrapper and the 2 available drivers (marvel or netgear) I can use for this wifi card (netgear WG311 v3).
It works as soon ndiswrapper module is not loaded

I understand more easily that such a thing happen. But the bonding ?

Any way, I am screwed; nothing to do about it, I guess.
