[SOLVED] Error dual boot install after Ubuntu 'set mountpoints ...'

Hi,
I have installed Arch in another Dell 1500 ( sole boot ) for over a year and  am liking it. So I decided to install Arch (2011.05.02) version on my Dell Inspiron 1525 which has Ubuntu (11.04, 2.6.38 kernel)  and get the following error during install:

"Setup couldn't detect mounted partitions in /tmp/install.  Please set mountpoints first"

My fdisk - reads like below:
Disk /dev/sda: 320.1 GB, 320072933376 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 38913 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disk identifier: 0xe276ad6f

Device Boot      Start         End      Blocks           Id  System
/dev/sda1   *           1          32      256000             83  Linux   Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
/dev/sda2              32         555     4194304           82  Linux swap / Solaris Partition 2 does not end on cylinder boundary.
/dev/sda3             555       15029   116266746       5  Extended
/dev/sda4           22864       38914   128919552     7  HPFS/NTFS
     /dev/sda5             555        5654    40960000       83  Linux
     /dev/sda6            5654        7439    14336000      83  Linux
    /dev/sda7            7439        8714    10240000      83  Linux
   /dev/sda8            8714       11264    20480000     83  Linux
  /dev/sda9           11264       13813    20480000     83  Linux
  /dev/sda10          13814       15029     9765625     83  Linux

I plan to install Arch with / on /dev/sda5 , /home on /dev/sda6 &  /var on /dev/sda7 . All of these are on the extended partition.
The common data files (music, docs etc ) between Arch & Ubuntu  reside on the /dev/sda4 partition.
BTW, all of these were created by the GParted as ext4 except for /boot which I put on /dev/sda1 and the common swap on /dev/sda2
The install proceeds to ask me for the mount points and then it gets the errors.
I have searched the wiki and googled the above error and have drawn a blank as of now.

Any hint to resolving the issue is most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

After the post, I tried the install with the newest stable release (2011.08.19) and the issue is resolved and I was able to breeze thru the installation without any issues.
