arch doesn't like to share

Hey samba wont share anything from arch, it accesses things from my windows boxes on my network fine 'n' dandy, but it wont share anything from itself. I don't know where to start, I've set my home folder to be shared, but not even my computer is listed on the network. Thanks for any help  smile

Re: arch doesn't like to share

You need to allow samba (smbd and nmbd I think) to your windows boxes in the /etc/hosts.allow file.

If you have a firewall script, you need to open the samba ports to them too.  (137/8/9 I think)
