External HD on router

We have a WD Passport on a USB port on our Belkin router.  How can I access this?  I can get at it via Windows, but I can't figure out how to get at it from Linux.

If WIndows can see it, Samba might work for you - but you should really get more details about how it's being handled. Your router's manual/support site/other such resources should help.
