Mounting pipefs filesystem: FAIL

I am trying to set up NFSv4 using this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NFSv4

rpcbind starts fine.  nfs-common fails with no indication as to why.  I can't find a log or anything that would provide more information.  Here is my /etc/exports:

/export 192.168.1.0/24(rw,fsid=0,no_subtree_check,async,no_root_squash)
/export/media 192.168.1.0/24(rw,no_subtree_check,async,no_root_squash,nohide)

Both directories export.  /export/media is bound to /home/myuser/Videos

Re: Mounting pipefs filesystem: FAIL

Did you grep your logs for nfs?  daemon.log, kernel.log, and messages.log all have nfs related entries on my machine (I'm exporting NFS too, but only using v3).

Also, even though it's two lines you should use code tags around your exports.

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Re: Mounting pipefs filesystem: FAIL

I was able to get them to start after changing my hostname to a fully qualified domain and restarting the computer (not sure which triggered it to work).

Thank you for your assistance.
