lspci not working properly

When I run lspci this is what shows

check your error logs and dmesg to see if it shows anything that might be wrong.

I'd say that /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids is missing,  probably as a result of a botched upgrade involving -f, or --force.

I had the same problem. Syncing core/hwids did the trick for me.
