Owncloud: Send link via e-mail not working

I just installed a headless server with Owncloud (Dropbox-style file storage server) and when I press on the send link by e-mail option, it says the mail has been sent, but i receive none.... am i missing something else?

Have you double checked ownCloud's mail settings, as well as your firewall's settings?

Also, this is an Owncloud question, not specific to Arch, so although you may get an answer here, you'll probably get a better, quicker one here.
