hi everybody; I have some problems with my bluethooth network. recently I bought a bluethooth usb device and I tryed to use it with bluedevil in KDE 4, I can perfectly recive files from my phone but I can't send a file from my pc to my phone. my phone is a blackberry 8520 (curve) and when I select the option "receive file through bluethooth" and then I select the bluedevil option "send a file", the file begins to transfer but it crash and say "the transfer was cancelled". any idea ??

Same problem here, had to downgrade to bluedevil 1.2.2 which works.

I have also the same problem with my mobile phone.
As you, reverting to previous bluedevil previous version (1.2.2-1) solved everything.
That's is disapointing...

Have you lot tried the openobex from the archlinux official repositories, I did some searches and from what I've found you need that particular component to transfer files from the mobile phone, other than that I can't help out if it doesn't work.

I was trying to get bluedevil work within KDE. Openobex may work but seems an alternative way of transfering files. In any case, installing openobex doesn't solve the issue with bluedevil.
