sshd - attempting to connect to outbound ssh service

Hi all,

I noticed in my logs that sshd reports that it cannot connect to some server:

sshd[13683]: error: connect_to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 80: failed.

Now, to me it looks like sshd is attempting to connect to that host but cannot.  Other things that could explain this log is that I am using SSH to proxy my Internet traffic.  Also, I do not have TOR running, so that is the only other thing I can think of that would be using SSH.

I should not be connecting to that host though, so I am a bit confused.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here?  Do have a backdoor into my server?
