[SOLVED] Problem with pacman update - Signature is unknown trust

Today i update the pacman and i have the following problem:

error: perl-error: signature from "Allan McRae <me@allanmcrae.com>" is unknown trust
error: git: signature from "Dan McGee <dpmcgee@gmail.com>" is unknown trust
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature))
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I read the news page also and some topic in the forum. From the news page I do the following:

pacman-key --init
pacman-key --populate archlinux

then it said to merge the files but there is no pacman new in /etc...

In some other topics it said that i have to edit the /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/gpg.conf and to change the line with the keyserver, after the edit my file is looking like this:

no-greeting
no-permission-warning
lock-never
keyserver hkp://pgp.mit.edu:11371
keyserver-options timeout=10

after the edit the topic said to run the following command as root:

curl https://www.archlinux.org/{developers,trustedusers}/ | awk -F\" '(/pgp.mit.edu/) {sub(/.*search=0x/,"");print $1}' | xargs pacman-key --recv-keys

Nothing done yet, the problem still there and I need the pacman. I can't understand why pacman the most times is so difficult to fixed after the upgrade, I have no problem with the community of this operating system, or from the wiki, any other I love this operating system and the freedom that gives, but I think in news page is better to have a more analytical topic on how to fix the problem with the pacman because it is necessary and we needed at any time.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with pacman update - Signature is unknown trust

Tried the above and ended up in the same place I started from...

error: pacman-mirrorlist: signature from "Dan McGee <dpmcgee@gmail.com>" is invalid
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

You also need to delete the cache to get it to work.

You need to have your clock roughly correct.

mbzadegan, Welcome to the forums smile

Please remember to use code tags when posting large chunks of output like that.

Also, please have a read over the forum etiquette, in particular the section on waking the dead. A lot has changed since 2012 so starting a new thread is best is this instance.

Closing.
