X-Lite Audio Issue

Hi Everyone!
I installed bin32-xlite from AUR, the tar.gz url was invalid so I changed to one I found googling (http://www.easyofficephone.com/download … all.tar.gz).
Beside that there were no issues with the install.
I did some test calls to my coworkers, the connection was established but neither of us could hear a thing (their phone work fine).
I also use skype and it works fine, so my audio is working.
When I ran the X-lite's audio tuning wizard its combo box devices options only shows 'default' but it is not working.
I checked the 'diagnostic log' but it doesn't show any error or audio related info there.
Also ran it  from a term to see if any error was shown there but only stuff about gtk theme appeared.
This looks like an audio device miss config, but I have no idea how to fix it.
Can any wise archer shed some light on this issue?

Thanks for your time,
G.

PS: Im using ARCHx86_64

Re: X-Lite Audio Issue

No one has something to say?
Not even a recommendation for other sip client?
Not even an "I feel you bro"?

sad

Re: X-Lite Audio Issue

You could try twinkle [1], which I prefer since I have several sip accounts, if you use only one account maybe you will have luck with ekiga-lite [2]. If you have a public IP address you may also be lucky with linphone which is in the repos.

This said, it wouldn't have been too hard for you to either search with pacman or search the aur for sip clients, try them and see which one works best for your setup.
