Hi all,
It seems the issue in my previous topic may be a wider issue with hosting Arch Linux on Hyper-V.
Following updates carried out today on another hyper-v arch installation (previously running kernel 3.0) and NOT using btrfs [luckily I snapshotted before rebooting, again!] I am getting the same issue.
Waiting 10 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-uuid ...
ERROR: Unable to find root device '/dev/disk/by-uuid/...'
You are being dropped to a recovery shell
...Am I missing required hyper-v hooks such as hv_storsvc ?
If so, how can I add them?
Anyone else managed to update their Arch on Hyper-V?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
