I am running the Linux LTS kernel because the latest one has too many driver issues for my Toshiba NB505. But yesterday I was trying to mount a truecrypt drive and it wasn't working. It said that it failed to create a loop device.
According to the wiki it says
If you use any kernel other than linux install the corresponding kernel module.
So what module do I need for the LTS kernel? Do I need any modules for the latest truecrypt release with the LTS kernel at all?

If I'm not mistaken, the kernel just needs to have Crypto support. The LTS kernel has this, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Have a look at this section of the Truecrypt wiki page and check the suggestions made there.
