xserver session

Hi Archers.

Does the xserver provide sessioning in any way? I mean, storing and restoring of a runing X session.
Restarting all needed applications and type in many passwords tires me.
And no, I don't make my system store my passwords!

I've always thought .xinitrc offers (almost) everything to do this automatically...

Edit: I was almost sure there's still something about it in the AUR: this.
