GLFTPD - Can't connect anymore

Good morning.
I installed GlFtpd maybe a week ago, because it seemed like it was the easiest FTP to set up virtual accounts with. It worked great at first, but I soon figured out I didnt install it in a jailed enviroment, which made me "uninstall" it (rm -rf /glftpd)... That's what I think the problem is.
Reinstalling worked great, but it couldn't connect.

421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

was the error I kept getting.
Anyways, I read some more and found out that the installscript did a few things more, according to http://www.glftpd.dk/files/docs/glftpd.docs I am supposed to remove all glftp entries in both /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/services. I have no such file as the first one, and the other file contained one entry, which I removed, but still no luck. I also removed the /etc/glftpd.conf , but no difference.
Thinking of doing a fresh reinstall of Arch, but that feels unnecessary...
Any ideas?
