Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 slow to connect at boot

Hi,

I've just moved my Arch install from a laptop with an Atheros AR9485 to a laptop with an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235. On my old laptop I used a very simple script to start wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd/dhclient at boot which worked well and was very fast. On the new laptop if I run this script or start the network service at boot the wireless is very slow to connect. However, if I run either my script or netcfg later it connects in a timely fashion. Could this be a problem loading the intel module? Presumably other people don't have this issue? I don't use a network manager type program.

Cheers, Jamie

I've found a note here mentioning an issue with my laptop and wireless-n, but it doesn't sound the same symptoms.
