USB card strange behaviour

Hello everyone.

I have a strange problem that i can't figure out how to solve it. i'm completely lost.

On this computer i connect through usb wifi cards. I've always been using an old 802.11g usb card without problems. now i'm trying to use a new .11n card but it doesn't work.
Let me explain: the device is found with no problems, i have the drivers, but this card can't see my home network... i can see other networks around me but not mine, which i see with the old one.
I though of some problem with the router that couldn't handle the .11n but it can and while under windows i can connect without problem to my network... I am... Confused.
Any idea guys? Many thanks smile

No mention of the specific wifi device... either of them... or any real information leads me to think that help for you may be impossible.
