[Solved] DNS configuration trouble (dhcpcd - no systemd)

I would very much like to use another DNS, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how.

I have of course read what I could find on the wiki, what I could find relevant to KDE and so on, but no matter what I do, it just won't work!

The wiki say something about dhcpcd.conf, nohook, resolv.conf, nooption domain_name_servers and then of course to manually configure the dns IP in resolv.conf, but regardless I end up with and "empty" and auto generated resolv.conf.

I also tried searching the forum, sinse I imagine this to be a common problem, but again no cigar.

My arch is not exactly up to date, so no systemd and such, but other than that and KDE, it's a pretty standard setup.

Hope you can help.

Best regards.

My apologies that this is not always obvious, despite my best efforts.
