Hi guys,
I have a few network shares the system attempts to reconnect to upon shutting down. I have a network share with a filesystem image in it that I mount automatically via a loopback device. Pam mount automatically handles all of that.
When shutting down or rebooting my computer, it appears my pam_mount mount points are not closed upon logging out or it hasn't happened yet as when I shutdown the device must still exist for the system to want to re-connect.
Is there anything more I need to do in order to make sure my mounts are closed entirely upon logging out?

I think this may be related to my smb issue which I'm still working on finding a fix for, but have had some progress. There may also be some relevant info here

Thanks for posting, I actually looked at your post and then I came across the relevant info when googling the problem. That seems much more pertinent to my issue so I need to try that again.

Just a curiosity, have you tested over both wifi and ethernet? I've seen a few things that indicate mount related shutdown issues relate to the order in which the system closes applications etc. which apparently can differ over wifi vs eth.
Sorry, I can't remember where I saw this, I've read that many articles/tutorials in the past few weeks lol.

No, I have only tried this over ethernet and cannot try this over wifi.
