[solved] Buffers/Cache seem to be disabled on my new VPS

So, I finally decided to try an Arch VPS and after letting my professional admin friend come poke around he made a comment about how buffers/cached were 0kB and that could be detrimental to performance.  Here's /proc/meminfo:

Anyone have any idea why this is? Should I talk to the VPS support about this issue, or is it something I can configure myself?  Thank you!

From VPS ticket:

All of the buffers / caching is done outside of your VPS on our host nodes, so this is normal
