'If you want to display an image you can use the img tag. The text appearing after the "=" sign in the opening tag is used for the alt attribute and should be included whenever possible.'

Re: Gnome 3.6 other application

For some reason, evince.desktop contains an entry (NoDisplay=true) which makes it not visible in the overview/menus.

Evince didn't show up here. I used alacarte to get it back, but I guess you could easily edit evince.desktop

I also used alacarte to make Evince appear.  In general I find alacarte to be a very effective way to manage the Gnome menu.

Have you tried alacarte?

Re: Gnome 3.6 other application

However, I just realized that evince does not appear as an option for an application to open pdfs with.  As in, when I right click on a pdf and select open with, evince is not there.

Any body else seeing this?
