Hello to all.
I have some problems in making my printer Brother HL-2030 run correctly. Until now i have read:

I have tested with the foomatic drivers, installed them but when i go in to cups at Administration, add a printer, my printer is not listed under local printers, i have no printer.
Removed the foomatic driver and installed the proprietary driver from AUR, in this case, when i go in to cups at adminstration> manage printers, my printer is there, it is installed but is not working properly because when i want to print a test page, the status of the printer changes from: Idle -> Idle - "Waiting for printer to become available." although the printer is ready and waiting for jobs, the redy led is on. I have added my user in to the printer group, lp, and also added the lp group in to the cups config file to allow the users belonging to the group to do administrative tasks in cups.
