Allowing AUR and forum account to have the same handle name

Hello Archers,

I've been more active and loving it to where it would be my preference to have the same handle for my AUR account and forum account. I found the following link which discusses this issue but no further info:

Is there way to join them now in 2012?

I created the AUR account first under the handle "p-we" which is my preferred handle name. It would be great also use that instead of "wdirksen" which I'm using here.

Your question isn't phrased very clearly. You are most certainly allowed to use the same name for both. I do.

But you are also allowed to use different names, which you did.

Your question then is really if you can change your forum user name. The answer is still no - but you can just create a new forum account with your preferred name.

Actually, no. That is against policy.
