Just to be clear, that command is rfkill unblock all  and needs to be run as root (using using sudo, for example).

Aside from that, please post the output of ip link  and of lspci -nn

Re: my wirless can't can't working, rfkill can't reslove my problem

Well, I am not the creator of this post, but it looks the same issue for me...
After a massive upgrade (one month or so, 650 MB) I got wifi and bluetooh both soft-blocked, so the service "rkill-unblock" wont do anything.

After a "sudo rfkill unblock all" I have two cases:

- Sometimes it does nothing (still soft-blocked).
- Sometimes bluetooth starts working and wifi led is on BUT it's somehow stuck. I mean terminal freezes and everything related to wifi too (like wicd). Cant shut down either.

Of course when just boot and try to bring the wlan interface up, I get something like "unable (...) due to RF-kill".

Reading a lot, I tried to blacklist "dell-wmi" and "dell-laptop" to no avail...

I tried also downgrading the packages I thought were related, like kernel, rfkill, b43-fwcutter, systemd... again to nothing.

Any ideas please?

Thanks!

Re: my wirless can't can't working, rfkill can't reslove my problem

Although the problem seems resolved for me with the current kernel. I had in the past problems with rfkill that I solved by recompiling the kernel with rfkill completely disabled. This has the interesting effect that I could use my wireless card even when the physiucal switch was in the off position!
