Hi, i was trying to make use of paccache utility issuing:
paccache -rv
Unfortunately i get following error:
paccache -rv
==> Privilege escalation required
root /usr/bin/paccache: line 134: /bin/su: Argument list too long
Anyone knows how to solve this? or am i doing something wrong?
Thank you!!

Ok, i understand what happened. In reality the argument was too long for the rm command, so basically you have to start prunning
packages "slowly" (-k with a high value) until you reach the desired value .

I wonder if it can be considered a bug in paccache. Care to open a bug report / ask on the IRC / ML?

According to pacman's mailing list that has already been taken care of .
