Suppressing killed by signal 1 on ssh

I have a fresh install of arch on a machine I own for 2-3 years. The machine used to run Ubuntu (and its derivative) and arch. On this installation, when I copy files from a remote machine using scp I get a message

Killed by signal 1

I tried, after finding this in stackoverflow to add -q tag without any help.

As far as I can tell, there is no problem with the copy.

How can I suppress this message?

Thanks
