Wicd's Real Tray App Name

Wicd involves several Python scripts and I've dug into them, but still can't find it. Now stalonetray works with Wicd, started in the usual way in /etc/xdg/autostart. I'm all default Arch here.

I want to use

stalonetray --remote-click-icon wicd

under secondary invocation to toggle the GUI from a script. This trick works for other tray apps. I just can't find the correct tray name for wicd. It isn't wicd or Wicd or python or /usr/bin anything that I can figure out. Ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Wicd's Real Tray App Name

It's right in the first section of the wiki.

Re: Wicd's Real Tray App Name

Nope. The systemd service name isn't the tray app name if that was the confusion. None of those wiki terms work with stalonetray.

wicd
Wicd
wicd-gtk
wicd-client
"/usr/bin/python2 -O /usr/share/wicd/gtk/wicd-client.py"
etc.

Now stalonetray will auto-click any other tray app in the very same tray. I think wicd python code may forget to set a tray app name properly? I began to use xdotool and other gizmos trying to find out, but it all got pretty hairy.

Thanks
