Hi,
I'm using gnome with networkmanager and my GOBI2000 was running fine but since the last kernel update I can't connect to the net. When I click on the connection it tries to connect but after a whole lot of time nothing happens.
Does anyone have the same issue? Is there a fix for this?
Installed packages:
linux 3.8.4-1
networkmanager 0.9.8.0-2
modemmanager 0.6.0.0-1
gobi-loader 0.7-4
gobi-firmware 1-6

At boot everything seems to go well:
[ 5.019231] usb 2-1.4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 8.822198] qcserial ttyUSB0: Qualcomm USB modem converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0
[ 9.865246] usb 2-1.4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 9.866376] usb 2-1.4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB1
[ 9.867276] usb 2-1.4: Qualcomm USB modem converter now attached to ttyUSB2
When I try to connect to a mobile network dmesg says this:
[ 2711.566420] cfg80211: Calling CRDA to update world regulatory domain
[ 2729.411633] modem-manager[367]: segfault at 200000002 ip 00007fb60bda35ff sp 00007fff1a42a810 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.3400.3[7fb60bd41000+f4000]
After the failed attempt the device doesn't show up anymore in the network manager.
Can I force the gobi-loader to reactivate the modem?
EDIT:
I recently upgraded my system to gnome 3.8 and kernel 3.8.8. Since 3.7 my gobi card doesn't show up in network-manager anymore. Here are the interesting parts of dmesg:
[ 5.196369] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial

Everything seems fine but nothing works. I used the firmware files from http://support.lenovo.com/de_DE/downloa … MIGR-72938 and gobi-loader from aur. It had worked with the same configuration. I didn't change the firmware or gobi-loader. Just the kernel, gnome and network-manager versions changed.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
