Hi everyone!
I have installed arch linux not so much time ago (so I am a newbie )
I have encrypted with LUKS my swap, root, and home partitions (on a single lvm volume) and I have installed the btrfs filesystem on them (not on swap, of course).
The problem is the following:
during the mounting process (after having decrypted the partitions), the following messages appear:
fsck: fsck.btrfs not found
fsck: error 2 while executing fsck.btrfs for /dev/mapper/crypt-home
But after that, everything seems to work very fine.
So: what do they mean those messages? Is there something going on there?
Thanks in advances

You are probably missing btrfs utilities. Search for btrfs in pacman

There is no such thing as fsck.btrfs, change your fstab to skip fsck for any btrfs partitions.

Although this thread is old, it might be worth it for those who come through a search engine. This error can be easily resolved by installing `btrfs-progs`.

Thanks for sharing, I'm going to close this old thread now.
