fsck.btrfs not found

Hi everyone!

I have installed arch linux not so much time ago (so I am a newbie smile )
I have encrypted with LUKS my swap, root, and home partitions (on a single lvm volume) and I have installed the btrfs filesystem on them (not on swap, of course).

The problem is the following:
during the mounting process (after having decrypted the partitions), the following messages appear:

fsck: fsck.btrfs not found
fsck: error 2 while executing fsck.btrfs for /dev/mapper/crypt-home

But after that, everything seems to work very fine.
So: what do they mean those messages? Is there something going on there?

Thanks in advances smile

Best,
and

Re: fsck.btrfs not found

You are probably missing btrfs utilities. Search for btrfs in pacman smile

Re: fsck.btrfs not found

There is no such thing as fsck.btrfs, change your fstab to skip fsck for any btrfs partitions.

Re: fsck.btrfs not found

Although this thread is old, it might be worth it for those who come through a search engine. This error can be easily resolved by installing `btrfs-progs`.
