Hi I have ZTE MF 195 3g usb modem which was working until couple days a go.
Now refuses to connect, sometimes I got KDE window with login details, and that is all.
I have checked connection details , it is correct, also sim card works in another modem but after 2 or 3 failed connects.
On win$ everything is fine.
Modem and sim card from another provider work well.
I use kde, network manager and standard kernel.
Also noticed this error
(ttyACM0): device state change: ip-config -> failed (reason 'ip-config-unavailable'
Any ideas welcome.
Thank you.

@dare023,
Reading the wiki on wifi and troubleshooting always helped for me.
Did you do an upgrade to your system in the interim?
tks

Yes I did upgrade, but strange is that other usb dongles work.
I read wiki but find nothing, also this is 3g dongle, no wifi.
I guess it is not a hardware problem, as that dongle works on win with no problem.
Thank you anyway.
Edit: Just run pacman -Syu I see that usb_modeswitch is on update list. I will report back tomorrow when I test modem.

Don't be surprised that other dongles work and one does not. The bug could affect one chipset and not the others.
I feel for you because I have a unlucky history of wifi problems getting broadcom, now even Atheros chipsets to work. Did you consider a 3g based wifi hotspot instead of a dongle?

No, I must use this for now.
Still no luck, only I have noticed one more error
