[SOLVED] VTE-based terminals (Konsole, Sakura) don't show prompt

Hi,

I've got a problem with VTE-based terminals since the last update. They can't be used at all, the prompt is not shown, I'm not able to type any character. The rest of the GUI (menus, buttons...) work fine. The problem is not Bash-related (the text console - Ctrl-Alt-F1 - and xterm work fine). Here's is a screenshot:

The problem was discussed here on Gentoo forums in October 2012, but now that Arch has switched to systemd, I find most of Gentoo-related information unhelpful.

Anyone else has experienced the same issue?

Here are the error messages:

Konsole: Can't open a pseudo teletype. Unable to get flow control status, terminal not connected.
sakura: (none)
urxvt: can't initialize pseudo-tty, aborting.

Peter
