VMPlayer 6 running Windows XP constantly disconnects internet

I'm currently running Arch Linux on a 64 bit computer

I'm running VMWare Player 6 with a windows XP 64bit professional edition

I've installed VMWareTools from VMPlayer.

I'm currently using a NAT internet connection.

I really don't care the type of internet connection I need to use, whether it's NAT or Bridged, I'm just trying to play a game online.

The issue is that, every couple of seconds, my internet connects and works perfectly, and then a few seconds later, it disconnects. This keeps on automatically happening =/

My host is running a
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 0411:0158 BUFFALO INC. (formerly MelCo., Inc.) WLI-UC-GNHP Wireless LAN Adapter

I've disabled the firewall inside Windows XP and that didn't do anything (I left it turned off though)
I've uninstalled VMWareTools and that didn't do anything so I just reinstalled it.
I've reset my TCP/IP by typing" netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt" into the command prompt inside the VMPlayer

Any ideas?
