Following the instructions on this page posted by jedisct1: dnscrypt.org for running dnscrypt on my desktop linux machine everything works wonderfully without unbound. I can wireshark the eth0 interface and see that packets are going to opendns encyrpted.
However, as soon as activting the instrucitons on that page for unbound, all packets revert to unencrypted across the eth0 interface.
Any help much appreciated.
