OpenVPN DNS issue on system startup

Hi,

  For a little while I have been having a weird issue with OpenVPN.  When I start my system, it tries to create the tunnel but can't find the host name.  It does try to connect until I kill it and will never find the host name.  However, I can find the host name and if I start OpenVPN by hand, it does connect and works as expected.

  First question is: if I have the lines:

Requires=NetworkManager-wait-online.service
After=NetworkManager-wait-online.service

and it does start (systemctl status reports running); how come it cant find the host name?

Second: if I can find the host when I log on after; why can't it ends up finding it?
Third: I did see it start properly at one point; why not all the time?

Another thing, it seems that sometimes these are also failing with the tunnel:

systemd-ask-password-console.path
systemd-ask-password-wall.path

Wile working on my machine this morning; I just had this message at the console:

Password entry required for 'Enter Auth Username:' (PID 4725).
Please enter password with the systemd-tty-ask-password-agent tool!

Openvpn was in a failed state afterwards.  I had to restart it manually.

Anyone has a clue?

Thanks,

Tach
