samba...[solved]

I followed the wiki to get samba working.. after doing pacman -S samba there is no /etc/samba folder..

Am I supposed to create this myself? it doesnt say so anyway in the wiki, and I am following the wiki.. it only says to cd to /etc/samba and configure samba.conf..

anyone? how did you set up your samba?

Re: samba...[solved]

ok.. i was trying to reinstall samba with pacman -S samba but didnt allow me since it was already installed.. so I did a pacman -Sf samba and forced the install, now samba.conf exists.
