Arch-VirtualPC-VNCserver

Hey guys, I have ArchLinux installed in microsofts VirtualPC.  I have the internet working fine and i can ping to the outside world, and people in the lan can ping to the Virtual Arch linux.  However i want people outside of my lan to be able to VNC into Arch.  I set my router to redirect any incomming requests on port 5900 to the virtualPC IP how ever everytime I try to connect to it in VNC, it waits for a while then says Connection refused.  Im wondering if anyone has done this before and has gotten it to work!

Re: Arch-VirtualPC-VNCserver

Ehh, what about /etc/hosts.deny ??
You may need to add something like this to it:
ALL: EXCEPT 192.168.1.2 ALL: DENY

Re: Arch-VirtualPC-VNCserver

i read that somewhere too, but selecting "other" OS type, it installs fine.
I actually configured the router somemore giving the virtual machine more privlages which made it work! Thanks though!
