Hello, I was wondering why I'm getting loads of errors when I try to install sudo with pacman -S sudo? I've done pacman -Syu to try to update and it gives me another load of errors. Why is this?

I suggest giving this thread a read.
I do usually try to be as descriptive as possible, but it's on a Virtual Machine so I cannot copy and paste the error because I haven't installed a DE or WM. I'll take a screen shot of the little screen it shows of like half the error. That's all I can do though. So this is what happens when I type in pacman -S sudo:

Even in cases like this there are better options. You could redirect the command output to a file on a network share, vbox share or passthrough USB.
But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist.

Yes, but apparently not on the VM. They said if you're using a VM, you wouldn't have to install the stuff to connect to the internet... How do I do it from here since I'm not on the iso image anymore?
EDIT: I tried systemctl enable dhcpcd.service and got the output of ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/dhcpcd.service' '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/dhcpcd.service' but pinging 8.8.8.8 says unreachable still.

Ah, all I had to do was type 'dhcpcd' and then restart. Now it works.

So you can update now and install the needed packages ? If the problem is solved can you please mark it in the title of the thread?
