[Solved] Drupal 7 Error 403 Access Forbidden

Yo there.

I've been trying to get Drupal set up on my local machine, but I get this error trying to access it.

Access forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 403

I've got it set up alongside some virtual hosts, here's my httpd-vhost.conf:

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin root@localhost
    DocumentRoot "/srv/http"
    ErrorLog "/var/log/httpd/127.0.0.1-error_log"
    CustomLog "/var/log/httpd/127.0.0.1-access_log" common
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin anark10n@my-sandbox-test.org
    DocumentRoot "/home/anark10n/public_html"
    ServerName my-sandbox-test.org
    ServerAlias my-sandbox-test.org
    ErrorLog "/var/log/httpd/my-sandbox.org-error_log"
    CustomLog "/var/log/httpd/my-sandbox.org-access_log" common
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin anark10n@anarkware.org
    DocumentRoot "/usr/share/webapps/drupal"
    ServerName my-sandbox.org
    ServerAlias www.my-sandbox.org
    ErrorLog "/var/log/httpd/my-sandbox.org-error_log"
    CustomLog "/var/log/httpd/my-sandbox.org-access_log" common
    <Directory "/usr/share/webapps/drupal">
      Options None
      AllowOverride All
      Order allow,deny
      Allow from all
      Require all granted
    </Directory>
</VirtualHost>

I can access all myother hosts with no problem except the Drupal host. Tried adding a "Require all granted" as suggested elsewhere in my efforts to solve this issue, but still get the error. Tried changing the directory ownership and permissions, even going so far as giving all permissions to user, groups, and other; but still the same error. I'm all out of ideas what to try next.

Did you do this part from the Wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Drupal)?

Finally comment out the deny from all line of the /usr/share/webapps/drupal/.htaccess file to enable httpd access and restart Apache (httpd).

Yeah, did that. Here's how it looks like.

deny from all

<FilesMatch "\.(engine|inc|info|install|make|module|profile|test|po|sh|.*sql|theme|tpl(\.php)?|xtmpl)(~|\.sw[op]|\.bak|\.orig|\.save)?$|^(\..*|Entries.*|Repository|Root|Tag|Template)$|^#.*#$|\.php(~|\.sw[op]|\.bak|\.orig\.save)$">
  Order allow,deny
</FilesMatch>

Re: [Solved] Drupal 7 Error 403 Access Forbidden

Wow, sorry, saw my mistake. For some reason I was rading the instructions as uncomment the "deny from all" line in htaccess instead of commenting it out. My bad.

Edit 1: Problem remains, even after commenting out the line.

Edit 2: Got it sorted. Had to add the "Require all granted" to the <Directory> section of my virtual host in the /etc/http/conf/extra/httpd-vhost.conf.
