Hi everyone
After forum searching I didn't find a solution. Just got a new not genuine Lenovo baterry for my X200 notebook. On old battery everything was and still is fine. When new one is plugged in xfce4-power-manager doesn't update battery status when charging or discharging. Only one solution to get a battery current level is kill power manager and start it again. Nevertheless xfce4-power-manager can show only one battery status when starts working. Is this any solution for this?

I have same problem, BUT my battery is the old one BUT my charger is another charger...

look like ae now upstreamed, so you can try apply the patchs and build all
or try fill a bug in arch bugtracker pointing to tis and upstream bug and hope packager accept it and patch
Well, I suppose that this is somekind of signature, no?

the system under these conditions is unusable, you never know what it's battery consumption. I hope someone finds a official solution

If you take a look at the upstream bug, it is caused by upower 0.99.

Same problem here. It's a shame there is no coordination between maintainers of Gnome, Xfce, Mate, Cinnamon, etc.

I've already tried to make a downgrade to the old version of upower, but when I reboot I found the system without the battery icon in the tray (panel)

Since today morning I'm using BATTI instead of xfce4-power-manager without any problems...

xfce4-power-manager-git from AUR is working fine, so I'm using that until the official package gets patched.
Offline
Xfce4-power-manager-git doesn't work by me...

The git-version works here. Did you restart it?

Thnx, after restart it works fine!

I have no icon on the tray after installing xfce4-power-manager-git
EDIT:
to be more clear - there is something on the tray but this is not power icon for sure

upower is doing some rampage and got killed bei oomkiller twice instead of putting my laptop to sleep.

After installation, you must use gtk-update-icon-cache. good luck
ps: git version responds slowly to replaced the power supply (battery-network)... but it works.
