RT2500 configuration error

hee people,

I am afraid I need to ask for some help. I am trying to get my archlinux system working on a wireless internetconnection.

I have a rt2500 networkcard. I downloaded and installed the modules  correctly (it shows up in lsmod), and as far as I could see, the wireless connection should work. The output of iwconfig gives wireless extensions on eth0 (I cannot post tem here, because I type this on a different computer, duhh), with the correct ESSID and security mode. But thats it. I cannot access anything, and I cannot even ping my router.

Any ideas?

I used wireless internet before, and it works on this comp.

Re: RT2500 configuration error

Are you running your rt2500 driver with ndiswrapper? I am and it works ok!

Microsoft stole my computer, Linux gave it back.

Re: RT2500 configuration error

The first version of the rt2500 driver works, but the latest beta doesn.t. it seems that encryption is not supported (see other topic)
