After upgrading to GNOME 3.12, sushi has bad rendering in many files. Anyone has same problem ?

trinhanhngoc, you have been here long enough to know the forum rules. Make use of an image hosting site and post a link or thumbnail here.
On topic, when you have a problem, don't just say you have a problem and ask others. Show the community what you have done in order to debug the issue. Check your logs and dmesg and post other relevant information when asking for help.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

I have the same issue on both applications (sushi and Quadrapassel). There is nothing suspicious in the logs though (nothing that I can see at least). It seems like a graphics/rendering glitch. I am running Intel HD3000 (Sandybridge). The issue might be related, since I am also experiencing some minor lags that have been reported to be graphics-card related.

After the latest updates it is working with folders and text files. The problem still remains with videos/pictures/music/pdf files etc.

Hi !
I have the same problem here with the Sushi previewer, since the Gnome 3.12 upgrade.
It cannot preview any files nor folder. Whatever file I try, Sushi render only a strange big grey square on the screen. The square stays here, and doesn’t disappear when I hit the Esc key.
The only way to make it go is to open a Terminal et use the killall -9 sushi-start command.
I have this bug on my two 64bits computers, both of them using the intel-xorg 64-bits driver.
Does anyone know how to fix this ?
Thank you very much in advance.

I can only tell you an easier method to close the "square". Select it with the mouse and press Alt-Space

There is a Gnome bugzilla entry for this bug here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=724866
I have added links to this thread and the Arch bug report. The bug is filed against sushi, which I'm aware is probably not the actual source of the problem, but hopefully it will get Gnome devs interested to figure out what and where the actual problem is.
