Missing libldap-2.3.so.0 after samba upgrade

After upgrade to latest official repo samba and archck15 kernel(if it matters), samba wont start anymore.

/usr/sbin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/nmbd: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Re: Missing libldap-2.3.so.0 after samba upgrade

I suspect you need the latest version of openldap from the testing repo which is 2.3.11. Haven't tried it myself but it looks likely to me to be the problem.

OK I have tried it myself now and it does work with the updated package from testing.

Re: Missing libldap-2.3.so.0 after samba upgrade

FYI!
Seems to be something wrong with the smbclient-3.0.20-1 aswell.

Run smbspool or smbclient and you will get:
smbspool: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.2.so.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

smbclient-3.0.21a from testing will solve this too
