Macbook Air 6.2 overheating problem

Hi there,

I just basically "finished" installation of Arch as a second partition on my new MBA2014 and am worried about overheating problem physically felt in the  upper left corner of the keyboard.
It occurs during basic stuff performing -- just surfing the net and occasionally watching youtube videos.

The same tasks performed under OS X do not cause overheating at all.

I googled the issue and found that:

1. There is also complain of overheating connected with Thunderbolt operation, which could be related to mine: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=181589

2. There is discussion on the net about similar Debian issue, where Apple tech guy does not generally recommend Linux installation on MBA's:  http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.p … 99460.html

3. Overheating might be caused by absence of the control of proprietary Apple voltage regulation chip

4. Apparently, the extended overheating might cause hardware damage

Appropriate feedback is appreciated.
