It seems NetworkManager has suddenly quit working with openconnect-based VPN's.
It was working a few days ago, and has suddenly stopped working. Maybe the networkmanager-0.9.10 update, but I am not sure when that was. The file date in /var/cache/pacman/pkg on networkmanager-0.9.10.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz is July 27, but I know it was working on August 18. Maybe the file date on the packages is not the date I installed the update.
Now when I try to connect, I get this in the journalctl logs:
Aug 20 12:00:06 alien NetworkManager[625]: <error> [1408554006.861813] [vpn-manager/nm-vpn-connection.c:1778] get_secrets_cb(): Failed to request VPN secrets #3: (6) No agents were available for this request.
Note that openconnect VPN's themselves still work if I just go the the command line and run openconnet directly. It just stopped working via NetworkManager.

It seems something in the kde 4.14 update fixed this. It is connecting normally now.

I'd like to reopen this topic. Have exactly the same issue for few months and no actualization solved it yet. In addition to log error mentioned by OP which appears when trying to connect existing connection, I can't even create new openconnect connection profile in networkmanager kde applet - settings dialog will appear, but tab which includes input fields like VPN gateway IP address is missing. When click ok, error message dialog "vpn.service-type: property is empty" appears. Openconnect itself works fine when executed from command line.
BTW: I'm not alone with this, my colleague sitting next to me has the same problem on his desktop.

@dandys Although I should not bump this thread, things have already been messed up by hijacking it. Unfortunately, this page is already the most high ranking search result for so I thought I would supply my solution here rather than in a new thread that will not be found:
I had the same exact same problem: No settings for the vpn gateway could be made in the applet and when closing via the ok button the error message "vpn.service-type: property is empty" was shown.
I found the solution in the Arch Wiki on NetworkManager:
Install the appropriate version of the NetworkManager Applet. For me this was kdeplasma-applets-plasma-nm for KDE4.
I can now add a new Openconnect VPN connection to the list. Unfortunately, the interface has changed quite a bit (I liked the old one better), so when you are searching for the place where to add new connections:
You cannot get there via right-click -> Settings on the tray icon anymore. Instead you need to left-click and then hit the wrench in the top-right corner of the applet.
I hope this will help someone (if not me when I return here after having forgotten about this
