I've had Arch running well on this laptop for well over a year now and I've always used NetworkManager. It used to connect to every network that I had saved immediately, but now never does, even though the profile is still saved. Also, when I go to nm-applet in the tray and select a network for which I have a profile saved, nm-applet shows for a moment that it's attempting to connect, then just goes back to the "no connection" icon. Instead, for every connection, I have to select "Hidden Connection" and add all the information manually. This is not only when I first add the connection, but I have to also add another manual profile on every subsequent connection attempt.
Also, and it may be related, I just took a look at the profiles in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections and opened one of the many, many profiles I've had to add as a "hidden" profile. Each of them has no key field in it (though, I have no idea if they should) and all have "hidden=true" set as well.
Does anyone have any idea how to get this ti start working again? It's small but it's very, very annoying to add each connection manually every single time I close the lid on my laptop.
Thanks
