create_ap access point is very unstable

I'm creating an access point with the create_ap script, and most of the devices I have can't connect to it, and those that can are very unstable (they are connected for about 10sec, and then go offline, and then try to connect again.

I have enough entropy (haveged), so that's not the problem.

I do not any issue here with the create_ap script.
In what kind of device do you use it, is it an external usb stick, is it an embedded wifi adapter, laptop, desktop?
