When i try to install the Driver for my Brother MFC-1810, from here , with the commands form this wiki entry, or any other Wiki entry i could find, i only get a etc/ opt/ and var/ folder after i use rpmextract.sh mfc1810cupswrapper-3.0.1-1.i386.rpm and rpmextract.sh mfc1810lpr-3.0.1-1.i386.rpm. And not a usr/ folder like in the wiki. I know it´s a different printer. Also there is no cupswrapper file, the best i can get is a brother_lpdwrapper_MFC1810, in a folder called cupswrapper. I try just using the ppd file, but this didn't worker ether and i can´t find out how to apply , this wiki entry for my driver.
Any help is appreciated,

Some people from Manjaro's forum use this Brother driver install: http://support.brother.com/g/b/download … &type3=625 successfuly. Maybe try this? (Of course, you must have all utilities unable to unpack *.deb or *.rpm file - driver script is a little helpfully in this).
From the other hand, maybe I'll try to make PKGBUILD for this driver lately.

The Brother install worked without any problem, thanks so much.
Install dpkg from the AUR
Get the Package: wget http://download.brother.com/welcome/dlf … 2.0.0-1.gz
Unpack it with gunzip -d linux-brprinter-installer-2.0.0-1.gz
Make it executable with chmod +x linux-brprinter-installer-2.0.0-1
Run it with sudo ./linux-brprinter-installer-2.0.0-1
