I have two Samsung mobile devices (Galaxy Tab4 and S3 Mini phone). I am trying to send files to my netbook (eeePC), with Bluez, Bluez-Utils and Blueman installed, but failing miserably!
The devices pair correctly, and I can send files to either Samsung device from the netbook, but when I try to send from the Samsung devices to the netbook, I get a "Send Failed" message on the mobile device.
I can send files between the Samsung devices in any direction.
I have followed the advice in the Blueman and Bluetooth Wiki pages to deal with this problem, but with no success.
I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to solve this problem, which I have been trying to resolve for weeks, but with absolutely no success.
Thanks in advance

Very many thanks for these links, soldier1184.
Further experiments seem to indicate that the problem lies with Blueman. I found an old bluetooth dongle, plugged it in to my desktop and installed the same software as on the netbook. This resulted in the same problem. I then uninstalled Blueman, and installed Bluedevil (I already have the KDE framework in my desktop). Bluedevil works perfectly.
The logical solution is to install Bluedevil on my netbook, but it pulls in nearly 0.5GB of dependencies! (the KDE framework). Not ideal on a netbook that uses Openbox as its desktop!
At least I now have two Arch-based machines with bluetooth, so I have access to error logs to analyse the problem further (unlike when using Android).
Any further advice on this problem would be most welcome.
