Missing vmlinuz [SOLVED]

Hello,
I followed the steps of this guide, but I think this guide assumes that I will get a kernel in / at some point (see steps for Gummiboot).

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/beginners%27_guide

However after following the steps there, I have no kernel installed.

Did I miss something obvious ?

Duh, I had to run 'pacstrap /mnt linux', maybe someone should edit the Beginner's guide if he has access.

The 'linux' kernel package is part of the base group, so you should have installed it

# pacstrap -i /mnt base base-devel

| alias CUTF='LANG=en_XX.UTF-8@POSIX ' |

Note that in the gummiboot configuration "/" is the root of the EFI System Partition (ESP). Also note that the "arch.conf" excerpt is only a template, modify it to your needs.

Sakura:-
Mobo: MSI MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX // Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @4.9GHz // GFX: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT // RAM: 32GB (4x 8GB) Corsair DDR4 (@ 3000MHz) // Storage: 1x 3TB HDD, 6x 1TB SSD, 2x 120GB SSD, 1x 275GB M2 SSD

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.

Thank you to both of you, I managed to install grub but I have now another issue after booting due to the RAID 0 on the Acer S7, because it is not related to this topic I will create a new thread separately. I chose Grub because gummiboot seemed to not work too well on the S7 (maybe due to that RAID 0)
